Your brand/company has 3 types of customers- Promoters, Passives, and Detractors.
Promoters are loyal customers who will refer your business/product/service to another person because they love it. On a scale 1-10, their rate it either a 9 or 10.
Passives are satisfied customers who are not very enthused by your business/product/service and may go to your competitor to make purchases in the future. On a scale 1-10, their rate it from 6-8.
Detractors are un-happy customers who can damage your brand because they are not satisfied with your business/product/service and might say negative statements to others about their dis-satisfaction. On a scale 1-10, their rate it below 6.
NPS= Promoters (P) - Detractors (D). It’s based on customer responses to surveys/questionnaires.
